Inside Sal Vulcano’s personal life

Sal Vulcano is a member of the comedy quartet that runs the popular show, Impractical Jokers. Sal Vulcano, James Murray, Brian Quinn, and Joe Gatto formed a comedy group known as The Tenderloins in 1999. The group’s popularity grew over the next decade, and in December 2011, Impractical Jokers was shown on TruTV.

The show involves the four Jokers playing pranks on each other. The pranks are very elaborate, and the group has had problems several times with people who don’t see the fun in their jokes.

This piece will take a look at Sal Vulcano’s personal life. He will look at his love life and the personal cost he paid for Impractical Jokers.

Sal once stated that he is gay but later revealed that he did so to encourage James Murray to open up

Sal has kept a tight lid on his private life since becoming an international star. He rarely talks about his sexuality, but on one episode of The Daytime Talk Show with Sally Jesse, Sal admitted that he’s gay. After his confession, James Murray opened up and came out as gay. At that point, Sal stunned viewers by saying that he would come out as gay to encourage James to reveal his sexual orientation. Sal said:

“It feels great to have my best friend James out of the closet. That’s why I brought him here today. You see, I’m not gay, but I knew if I said I was gay, he’d admit he’s gay.”

As it turned out later that James was not gay because he was engaged to Melissa Davis. Aside from this fake confession, Sal did not address his love life.

However, we know that he believes in love. Sal is an ordained minister and presided over the wedding of Joe Gatto. Hopefully, Sal will allow us to get into his love life soon.

Sal got Jaden Smith’s face tattooed on his right thigh as a punishment for losing the challenge

Sal Vulcano was born on the 5th of November 1976 in Staten Island to parents Sal Vulcano Sr and Diane Fernandez. Vulcano is of Italian, Puerto Rican, and Cuban descent. Sal grew up in Staten Island with three sisters: Kelly Ann, Diane, and Gina. His parents divorced when he was young, and he is very close to his mother. Sal told OC WEEKLY that his devout mother once came to crash into his place because she thought the ghost of her deceased neighbor would haunt her. He said:

“My mom used to bump into my place because she lives in these garden apartments and the guy who lives upstairs from them passed away. Now she’s thinking, ‘I won’t give up on you, she thinks his ghost is going to mess with her.'”

Sal and his fellow impractical Jokers met during high school. They parted after high school and reunited after college to form their comedy group. Part of the humor involves punishing a member who fails to make a prank that pleases the other members. So far, Sal is the most punished member, and arguably the most memorable punishment in the entire series.

Joe asks Sal Vulcano to tattoo Jaden Smith’s face. Sal did the tattoo really well and got a chance to show it to Jaden Smith at Comic-Con. “I literally took off my pants and showed Jaden,” Sal told Yahoo TV. “He was very generous about it. Very surprised too.”

You might think the penalties and banter The Tenderloins pull on each other go too far, but The Impractical Jokers don’t see it that way. They have known each other for nearly three decades, and as such, they know what to say and do to each other. Quinn told the Buffalo News:

“We know where we can go and where we can’t. We’ve been friends for 28 years at this point. I’d be a bad friend if I didn’t know what not to say to my kids. But the flip side of that is that it’s obviously very hard to offend one of us.” or bother us. We are very thick-skinned.”
